Finally: The Heidelberg floods are over<\/strong>! We are delighted to inform you that our boat tours<\/strong> have been back to normal<\/strong> since last week. At times, the Neckar reached a water level of 5.10 meters and the green area next to the river, the Neckarwiese, was completely under water. During this time, we were unfortunately unable to use our pier near the town hall, and our boats found a safe place to stay in the DLRG motorboat harbor.<\/p>\n

Flood Heidelberg: We are back on the Neckar!<\/h5>\n

Boat traffic on the Neckar River was banned for a few days, but this is over now. We brought our boats back<\/strong> to the Neckarstaden<\/a> and are pleased to inform you that since then all trips have taken place as planned<\/strong>. No more cancellations or obstructions are to be expected<\/strong> in the future. Our boats, the “Orso” and the “Pulpito”, survived the floods unharmed and are looking forward to your visit.<\/p>\n

The city of Heidelberg also did a great job and is completely clean already. There are no more remnants of the flood<\/strong> that could disturb the eye during your trip on the Neckar River. Only the Neckarwiese is currently still closed for the public to allow the grass to recover after being submerged. We are thrilled to be back on the Neckar with you again<\/strong>, because it’s so much more fun when we can ride together!<\/p>\n

To all those who booked already: All trips will take place as planned!<\/h5>\n

So if you are booked on a boat tour with us in the near future, no need to worry. Prepare for a relaxing and enjoyable time<\/strong> on the water. All trips are guaranteed<\/strong> to take place. Even if it rains<\/strong>, because both our boats can be completely covered. Thanks to the transparent window inserts, you still have a clear view of the Neckar River and the city’s main attractions. We are confident that the sun<\/strong> will finally find its way to Heidelberg and that you will be able to enjoy the trip on the sun deck<\/strong>! If it gets chilly in the evening, cozy blankets are available on board. Just lean back and enjoy!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Flood Heidelberg is over: Book your tour now!<\/h5>\n

For those who have not yet booked a trip but would like to enjoy the summer<\/strong> at last: You can still book trips online here<\/strong><\/a>. We offer relaxed trips on the Neckar River for up to 12 people per boat<\/strong>. You can book additional catering online or bring your own. It is also permitted to B.Y.O.B. on board. Each trip includes at least two bottles of wine<\/strong> and two bottles of mineral water. You can chose between a short trip<\/strong> of 1.5 hours<\/a> or a true short vacation feeling on one of our extended cruises<\/strong><\/a>. The journey then takes 3.5 hours and you have plenty of time to unwind. We not only explore the entire city area of Heidelberg, but can also relax in the greenery<\/strong> on the Neckar Canal.<\/p>\n
