The distance between dreams and reality is called discipline!

And we needed it, because it was a really tough 2 weeks in the meantime, during which we overhauled both our boats in the shipyard in Heidelberg. We sweated, cried, laughed, sanded, steam-blasted, painted, removed, cleaned, replaced… We really took a close look at every screw and every plank and made our two wooden boats fit for you from the ground up and put them back in the water. At the moment we are even doing night watches, because wooden boats need some time after such a “full body peeling” until they are tight again and since we are afraid that one of the 6 pumps could fail overnight… we have been sleeping next to our two “babies” for 3 nights now and keeping an eye on them!
